A Daily Discovery
_______________________________ The work "Duties of the Heart" recommends a daily contemplation on the world to discover a new mark of the Creator's wisdom. What was your discovery today?
Julie Y. G. : Every thing you do and say becomes etched into your mind thus becoming a memory. Make everything become a good memory.
Choni Elchonon Kihleel: Today's discovery for me was this lesson itself. Hopefully, tomorrow there will be a new one.
Maribell C. : Reaching to be close to Shechinah That's what I thought today
Choni Elchonon Kihleel: But what mark of Divine Wisdom did you learn with reaching the Shechina that you didn't know yesterday?
Maribell C. : Becoming closer thru meditation/prayer I did this today. How Shekinah Came to me during or brfore I begin my studies & daily routines in my life, as well. Had to learn to be set-apart. Esoterically, I've picked up a bit today :)
Batya F. : That it is ones duty to set a time to empty ones mind so that we can hear him.
Jane H. : I think that it begins as a duty, and ends up as a craving. When I am quiet and I approach Him, He always asks me why I have taken so long to be with Him. He longs for us to be with Him.
Amanda G. : ..that we crave purity and goodness but don't hear this craving for the loud distractions all around us...
Choni Elchonon Kihleel: I place a lot of value on daily meditation. For me it's also a daily craving. My daily discovery today was in how the Creator brings about life situations to help us stop fooling ourselves.
Elizabeth M. : Hello My friend, my discovery was when I sat beside you on the train.....he knew my questions about the book of Samuel and used you to help me understand. He is awesome for providing me by studying and allowing me to gain a new friend!
Choni Elchonon Kihleel: To Elizabeth M.: He definitely was very kind to me as well. I needed a study partner at that moment. What I was studying was difficult for me and as a result I wasn't concentrating very well. So it was nice to someone throw at me some Bible questions about an area of the Bible I have more familiarity with. Thank you.
