Light Alive!

I can't imagine human consciousness evolving into spiritual enlightenment if we continue to think of light as a mere amalgam of seven colors. That's just the tail end of light, as it dips into physical reality. To think of light this way is sillier than for a microbe living in a shoe to think that a human being is a foot.

Liza: Great post. Yes, light is all communication, travel, movement and channels of movement (and therefore we think time exists) but most of all we embody light while suppressing and denying it to mere corporeal existence.

Choni: Yep you got it! Plus, light trails all the way up the spiritual levels until merging with it's source - the Infinite Light. In Hebrew the Infinite Light is called, "Ohr Ein Sof". It's the earliest instance of God's expression which is knowable to humans. God Himself is unknowable. He is Infinite, in Hebrew "Ein Sof".

    Liza: Thank you very much!

    Choni: With much pleasure! 😊

Nourit: What prompted this post my philosophical friend?

Choni: Hisbodedut / Hisbonenut. In certain states of consciousness it hard to say whether there's a line at all between the two.

    Nourit: Breslev

Choni: Mixed style: Breslov, Chabad, Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan - Mystically Jewish!

    Nourit: Sfardiaschisidi Jew
