Timeless

The light of the future,

 Shines back into the present;

For today requires a shape,

Ready to morph into tomorrow.

Conventionally many claim,

 The present shapes the future.

But could it be vice versa,

 The future shapes the present?

I think each shapes the other,

 In tenderly sweet union above time.
