I love the confluence of the streams,
The place where the differences meet;
The place where thought leaders,
Of the past meet those of the present.
The place where spiritual ideas,
Melt together to shape deeper insight,
The place where varied topics,
Dwell in comfort on a single scroll.
All these speak to my sense,
Of an inherent underlying unity,
The kind of which yearns,
To be vastly more manifest.
But I am left holding the bag,
Wondering, “Why such a long delay?”
